- To become great military leaders who's entire purpose is the protection of Riatin and Cairhien. They are not required to patrol though if any men that are under their charge screw up, the officer will be penalized heavily and proper punished. They are expected to train Soldiers in the art of Etiquette.

- These are men and women who, despite their lacking of pure understanding of extreme combat, have decided to take up the sword and put their other innate abilities onto the battlefield. They are still assigned a rank.
- Requirements
- Only that you possess a talent other than Weapon Master (or in addition to Weapon Master). You will still go through trainee training, however you will be given a special task once you've reached the appropriate levels.

To learn protect, you will likely have to achieve White Tower training.

Note: Rank is less determined by your code ability, and more by your roleplay ability, strategy, and loyalty. Code should be the last thing on your mind, even as a guard to Riatin.

- To see to the safety of all Riatin personnel, report anything ill spoken against the house and who it might be, to aid in the general policing/patrol of the city, and to always be ready for war if the need ever arises. They are to use force as a last resort, and mediators before all else.
